Format XML – for Result Entry

Several articles exist on the PCSchool Technical Blog for how to create and format Result Entry XML’s for assessment input:

XML creation details and definitions being the main one, or you can search the blog for ‘Result Entry’

We have also ‘unlocked’ the formula for using specific colours in result entry xmls! This means that schools can create xml’s with custom colours:

1. if you have a particular colour you wish to use you will need to find the RGB value (Red:Blue:Green) of the colour. You can usually find this using websites such as http://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_groups.asp

colour

2.  Take the RGB (Red:Green:Blue) value of the colour and apply the following formula:  (Rx256x256)+(Gx256)+(B) = number to use in xml. So the above colour would be 11529966
